The Job: You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service and growing revenue within existing accounts.You’ll act as the primary client advocate for Toolhouse project teams to ensure a client’s business needs are consistently met, and you’ll serve as a day-to-day strategic advisor to clients.

Your projects will typically take the form of major websites, mobile applications, web content such as video or social media posts, and CRM-driven campaign work. Clients will also occasionally look to you to review their website analytics in order to analyze campaign effectiveness and offer other relevant insights.

To succeed, you’ll need experience working with large-scale websites, mobile applications, A/B testing, CRM systems and marketing automation platforms. You’ll also need to have a fundamental understanding of SEO best practices, web analytics, SEM campaigns and social media content strategy.

The Location: Bellingham, Washington is nestled between the rugged Cascade Mountains to the east and the San Juan Islands to the west. It’s the perfect mix of small-town tranquility and big-city amenities. Our office is in a newly renovated cannery with large windows overlooking Bellingham Bay and the Islands. We sit at the doorstep to endless fun. Do you like to snowboard? Sail? Shop? Bike? Run? Hike? Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in a client-facing role at a digital marketing agency, or within a digital marketing role on the client/brand side
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, Internet technologies, social media and mobile
  • Demonstrable experience in relationship management or account management with close involvement in delivery of work and growing service offerings within an account
  • 4-year degree – preferably with a specialty in Marketing
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (1-2 times per month)
  • Ability to create professional-looking documents and presentations coupled with strong presentation/public speaking skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and the ability to carefully manage details
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of personalities
  • Ability to work across multiple projects at once
  • Ability to focus and work under pressure during tight deadlines with humor, tact, and professionalism
  • Experience in healthcare or technology marketing a plus
