a digital marketing agency.
Us: Toolhouse is a digital marketing agency, focusing on solving complex problems in innovative ways for some of the biggest healthcare companies in the world. We are technical experts and creative artists, and we take pride in our unique ability to marry those passions into meaningful solutions for our clients. We are a tight-knit team of can-do thinkers and doers that believes in building momentum, taking risks and finding our fun. Our clients are leaders in their industry, with high expectations that we take pride in exceeding.
You: You have an innate passion for all things grammar, for setting wrong things right, and bringing structure to the masses. Things that warm your heart: colored pencils, diving into the unknown to find the answer us mere mortals don’t understand, being the linchpin for creative success, the AMA style guide (of course!), and a well-worn hoodie. You are conscientious to a fault, and chart everything you learn. You thrive as part of a team, helping others succeed. You are an architect, stretching the bounds of creative flexibility together with the foundational elements of structure, to yield new work that will withstand the winds of legal review.
The Job: Editors will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all promotional content produced by our creative teams for our healthcare clients. As an Editor, you will be well-versed in the science and style of the brands you’re working with. You’ll work closely with our internal creative teams to ensure that copy and creative are thoroughly researched and meet all editorial and style guidelines. You will facilitate the review and approval of such content by our client’s medical-legal-regulatory committees, and ensure it complies with all applicable FDA guidance. You’ll review and edit all materials for completeness, accuracy, grammar, spelling, and adherence to brand style. Any day of the week you may be working on several projects, and together with our Project Services team, you’ll lead the effort to introduce and optimize internal processes to facilitate the editorial quality demanded of our clients.
The Location: You get to live in Bellingham, Washington. Our clients may all be in the big city, but we prefer our view right here. Our offices are right on Bellingham Bay, steps from the beach and close enough to watch the sea otters without leaving your desk. Nestled between the rugged Cascade mountains to the east and the San Juan islands to the west, we sit at the doorstep of endless outdoor fun. Do you like to snowboard? Sail? Shop? Bike? Run? Hike? Fish? Listen to live music? So do we. And that’s just on Wednesday. Bellingham is only 45 minutes from Mount Baker or Vancouver, BC and 90 minutes from Seattle. We work hard, we play hard, and we have a great view.
We offer full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K contribution matching.
